This prestigious project is designed to bring all group business of a large Indian multinational company under one roof from their multiple locations within Ahmedabad, India. The Building has been meticulously designed reflecting the client’s aspiration for a sustainable workplace of international standards scoring IGBC platinum rating.
The Site is located along the junction of SG highway and outer Ring road of Ahmedabad with efficient connectivity to main city, state capital – Gandhinagar as well as the airport.
The foreground landscape acts as the first point of visual connect that leaves a lasting impression through its tranquil atmosphere that compliments the built form as well as provides a well defined approach towards nature and its diverse elements. The landscape area offers a green corridor for the user the building, a balanced material selection includes natural stones, wooden decks, focal features, etc.
A linear water body along the 100m length of the foreground is designed to create a mini promenade. The atrium of the building is responded with a metal grid bridging the water body. Eloquent sculptures and bubbler jets are provided to create a soothing micro climate. Sustainable features include rain water harvesting, septic tanks and indigenous trees
The primary scenery in the forefront establishes the initial visual connection, leaving a memorable impact with its serene ambiance that complements the architectural structure while also presenting a clear pathway to interact with nature and its various aspects. This landscaped area forms a verdant pathway for occupants of the building, incorporating a selection of materials such as natural stones, wooden decks, and focal points. A linear water feature spanning the foreground’s 100-meter length is crafted to fashion a miniature promenade. Corresponding to the building’s atrium is a metal grid spanning the water feature, accompanied by elegant sculptures and bubbling jets to foster a tranquil microclimate. Sustainable initiatives encompass rainwater harvesting, septic systems, and the planting of native trees. The mention of the atrium and its connection to the water body further emphasizes the integration of nature into the built environment. The metal grid serves as a structural element while also enhancing the visual continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. The addition of sculptures and bubbling jets enhances the sensory experience, creating a microclimate that is both soothing and engaging.
