This project is a 100m tall commercial building designed to be a part of proposed CBD with higher FSI. It is linearly placed between Ashram road and Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad.
On Southern edge, project site abuts proposed metro corridor connecting old and new developments of the city located on the east and west of Sabarmati river.
The design of a high-rise commercial building next to the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad emphasizes integration with its surroundings, particularly through thoughtful responses to edges and the skyline principle.
By leveraging the skyline principle, the building harmonizes with the cityscape while creating a distinctive profile. Integrated design ensures seamless incorporation of environmental, cultural, and functional elements, fostering a symbiotic relationship with the riverfront and adjacent urban fabric.
Through strategic placement and architectural articulation, the building interacts dynamically with its context, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
The proposed tower structure is defined to reflect:
Response to Contextual Setup
Cross section of the building indicates spatial arrangement of the floor. Base block, responds positively to ground setup. Middle block outlines the building edge. Sky Atriums balances the mass. Top Block that defines the skyline.
On site Renewable Energy
South, west and east façade include building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) panels glazing.
Wind Turbines at South-west corner utilizing maximum wind force.
Negating Heat
Feature wall cladded with back ventilated façade system in the form of terracotta, reducing the overall heat gain.
“We express our satisfaction with regards to the professionalism and services rendered for this project which is a part of Sabarmati riverfront CBD led by masterplanning principles and Urban Design guidelines.”
